Rosmarinus Officinalis/
Organic rosemary essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the Rosmarinus Officinalis plant. It is transparent in colour and has fresh herbal scent.
Used in aromatherapy, rosemary oil is believed to possess brain stimulating properties thus improving focus and memory. The aroma of rosemary essential oil is often used to stimulate the appetite or to boost immunity.
Applied through a massage (preliminary diluted in a carrier oil), it is known to have relaxing and soothing effect on muscles and joints. It is also reputed to help relieve symptoms of digestive disorders such as bloating, flatulence etc.
Used cosmetically, rosemary oil has a positive effect on the scalp stimulating hair growth. It is also known with its beneficial effect on acne, dermatitis and eczema.
Rosemary oil has been used since ancient times for its strengthening and stimulating effect on the body.

Essential oils are highly concentrated natural substances and should be treated with respect and caution.
They should never be used neat on the skin with the exception of a few essential oils when advised by an aromatherapist.
Essential Oils should be diluted into a carrier oil for use on the skin at a ratio of 5 drops in total of essential oil to 10ml (one dessert spoonfull) of carrier oil for bodies.
5 drops to 10ml for face, neck and children.
Only certain essential oils are suitable for babies and they should be mixed at 2 drops to 10ml of carrier oil.

If you are pregnant, suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease or any medical condition, please seek advice before use.
Likewise, if you have very sensitive skin, it would be advisable to seek advice or carry out a patch test on a small area of skin before use.
